My latest hobby and passion is Deep Sky Astrophotography. This involves taking long exposures (a minute or more per image) and combining dozens to hundreds of these into a low noise, high visibility, beautiful end result. There are so many amazing objects in the sky that we cannot see with our naked eye and this gallery showcases them. Start to finish, each image can take months to compile and process. And there are a variety of accepted ways to present each image, so you might see several different versions with different colour palettes.
